Who Are The New Characters In Stranger Things Season 5

So, I was walking my dog the other day, and I bumped into this kid, couldn't have been more than 12, wearing a t-shirt that said "Mews is my spirit animal". I mean, come on, kid, it's been a while since we've seen our furry friend in Stranger Things, but you're still rocking the merch? I had to stop and ask, "Hey, are you ready for Season 5?" His eyes widened, and he started rambling about new characters. That's when I realized, it's time to spill the tea on who we might be meeting in the Upside Down.

New Kids on the Block

Alright, so we know that Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) have been spotted on set, but let's talk about the newbies. First up, we've got Jamie Campbell Bower. Now, I've seen him in Sweeney Todd, and let me tell you, he can play creepy like a pro. So, what's he bringing to the table in Stranger Things? Rumor has it, he's playing a character named Jake, but that's about as much as we know. Could he be a new ally, or another villain? Only time will tell.

Next up, we've got Joseph Quinn. You might recognize him from Catherine the Great or Game of Thrones. He's joining the cast as Eddie Munson, a new character who's apparently a bit of a rebel. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm already shipping him with Nancy. I mean, come on, a bad boy with a heart of gold? Sign me up.

More New Faces

But wait, there's more! We've also got Nicola Byrne joining the cast as Nancy's mom. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm curious to see how she fits into the whole Upside Down saga. Is she going to be a damsel in distress, or will she surprise us all and become the town's newest hero? Only time will tell.

And let's not forget about Robert Englund. Yes, that Robert Englund. The man who played Freddy Krueger is joining the cast as Victor Creel. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm already getting nightmares just thinking about it. What's his deal? Is he a new villain? A new ally? Or maybe just a creepy old guy who likes to scare the kids? Again, only time will tell.

What About Our Favorites?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "What about Eleven? What about the gang? Are they coming back?" Well, my friend, I'm glad you asked. While the Duffer Brothers have been tight-lipped about the new season, we do know that Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and the rest of the main cast are expected to return. So, don't worry, your favorite Hawkins residents will still be there to fight the good fight.

Stranger Things Season 5 Brings Back 12 Characters from Season 1

But what about our favorite furball, Dart? You know, the cat that's not really a cat? Well, according to the internet, there's a chance we might see him again. But let's be real, if they don't bring back Mews, I might riot.

When's the Premiere?

Now, I know you're dying to know when you can binge-watch the new season. Unfortunately, the Duffer Brothers haven't given us a solid release date yet. But according to some sources, we might be seeing it sometime in 2024. Yes, you heard that right. 2024. So, start stocking up on your Eggo waffles and get ready for another trip to the Upside Down.

And there you have it, folks. A little sneak peek into what we can expect from Stranger Things Season 5. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some Eggo waffles to eat and some Upside Down nightmares to have. Until next time!
