Where Is Miki Howard Now

So, there I was, the other day, scrolling through my old vinyl collection - you know, the one that's been gathering dust since I discovered Spotify. And there it was, Miki Howard's "Love Under New Management." I remember blasting that album back in the day, belting out "Ain't Nothin' in This World" like I was the one who wrote it. But then, life happened, and I lost track of Miki. I mean, where does the time go, right?

Anyway, curiosity got the better of me. I put down the record, picked up my phone, and typed in, "Where is Miki Howard now?" And boy, did I get a trip down memory lane.

From R&B Royalty to Wherever the Wind Blows

If you're anything like me, you remember Miki Howard as the queen of R&B in the late '80s and early '90s. Her voice, oh, that voice! It was like velvet and smoke, all wrapped up in one. She was a regular on the music scene, with hits like "Come to Me" and "Love Under New Management." But then, she sort of... disappeared.

Now, I don't mean to say she vanished into thin air. But she did step back from the spotlight. And that, my friends, is where our story gets interesting.

Miki Howard: The Quiet Years

After her last album, "Miki Howard," in 2005, Miki took a step back from the music industry. She didn't disappear completely, though. She kept busy with various projects, like acting and even a stint on reality TV. But her music? That was quieter than a library on a Sunday afternoon.

Now, I'm not one to pry into someone's personal life. But I will say, it's been a bit of a mystery, this Miki Howard hiatus. Some say she was focusing on her family. Others say she was just taking a break from the grind of the music industry. Whatever the reason, it's clear that Miki was doing her own thing, and that's okay. After all, we all need a break sometimes, right?

Miki Howard: The Comeback

But here's where things get interesting. In 2018, Miki Howard made a comeback. And what a comeback it was! She released "The Royal CD," a collection of new songs and old favorites. And let me tell you, her voice was as powerful as ever. It was like she'd never left.

Since then, Miki's been keeping busy. She's been touring, she's been recording new music, and she's been giving us all the feels with her incredible voice. And you know what? I couldn't be happier. Because, let's face it, the world needs more Miki Howard in it.

So, Where is Miki Howard Now?

Well, as of now, Miki Howard is right where she should be - in the spotlight, doing what she does best. She's touring, she's recording, she's living her best life. And you know what? That's all I needed to know. Because sometimes, it's not about where someone is, but what they're doing. And Miki Howard? She's doing just fine.

So, the next time you're scrolling through your music library, and you come across "Love Under New Management," give it a listen. Remember the good old days. And then, crank up "The Royal CD" and celebrate the fact that Miki Howard is back, and she's better than ever.
