Brandon Thomas Lee: More Than Just a Name

Ever wondered who's behind that familiar last name in the movie world? But don't think for a second that he's just coasting on his parents' fame. This guy's got his own thing going on, and it's pretty darn interesting!

From Music Videos to the Big Screen

Brandon's journey into the limelight began with a cameo in his mom's music video, All I've Got. Talk about a family affair! But he didn't stop there. He went on to star in the music video for Love Never Felt So Good by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Now that's what you call a killer resume starter!

But Brandon wasn't content with just being a pretty face on screen. He wanted more. So, he packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. And boy, did he make an entrance!

His Big Break: Sierra Burgess Is a Loser

In 2018, Brandon landed his first major role in the Netflix original movie, Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. Playing the charming Jamey, he stole hearts alongside Stranger Things's Noah Centineo. Who knew a fake relationship could be so darn cute?

But here's where it gets interesting. Brandon's character, Jamey, was initially written for a white actor. However, when the director saw Brandon's audition, they knew he was the one for the role. Talk about breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes!

From Drama to Comedy: The Real Bros of Simi Valley

After his breakthrough role, Brandon took on a completely different challenge: comedy. In the 2019 comedy series, The Real Bros of Simi Valley, he played the lovable stoner, Chris. It was a far cry from his previous role, but Brandon pulled it off with ease. Who knew he had such great comedic timing?

But here's where it gets even better. The show was created by and starred his real-life friends. Talk about bringing the laughs off-screen too!
