Samuel Witwer: From Star Wars to Werewolves, A Man of Many Movements

Ever found yourself binge-watching Being Human on Syfy, or maybe you're a die-hard Star Wars fan who's seen every episode of The Clone Wars? If so, you've probably come across the versatile actor, Samuel Witwer. This guy's been a part of some pretty epic movements in the world of entertainment, and we're not just talking about his impressive physique (though, let's be real, that's pretty impressive too).

From the Galaxy Far, Far Away...

Samuel Witwer's journey into the world of acting began in the early 2000s, but it was his role as Darth Maul in The Clone Wars that really launched him into the stratosphere. For those of you who haven't seen it, The Clone Wars is an animated series set in the Star Wars universe, and it's a must-watch for any fan. Witwer's voice acting was so spot-on that even George Lucas himself was impressed. Fun fact: Witwer actually auditioned for the role of Anakin Skywalker, but fate had other plans. Talk about a missed opportunity, huh?

...To the Dark Side of the Moon

But Witwer's not just a Star Wars guy. No, no, he's dabbled in a bit of everything. Remember the hit TV show Being Human? You know, the one about a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost trying to live like everyday people? Yeah, that one. Witwer played the role of the vampire, Aiden, and let us tell you, he was fang-tastic (sorry, we had to). This show was a cultural phenomenon, blending horror, comedy, and drama in a way that had fans hooked. It was a movement, a cultural shift in television, and Witwer was right there in the thick of it.

Back to the Future (Sort of)

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, so he's been in some big shows and movies, but what's he up to now?" Well, buckle up, because Witwer's latest role might just blow your mind. He's currently playing the role of Steve Rogers (that's Captain America to you and me) in the Marvel podcast, The Marvels. That's right, folks. Samuel Witwer is the voice of the star-spangled man with the plan. And if that's not a movement, we don't know what is.

So, What's the Takeaway?

Samuel Witwer's career is a testament to the fact that versatility is key in the world of entertainment. From Star Wars to werewolves, this guy's done it all. And let's not forget, he's also a musician, a writer, and a producer. Talk about a Renaissance man, huh? So, the next time you're feeling stuck in a rut, remember Witwer's journey. Try something new, step out of your comfort zone. You never know where it might take you. After all, as Steve Rogers himself would say, "I can do this all day."
