What Famous People Are Jehovah's Witnesses

Who's Who in the Congregation?

Remember Jenna von Oy from Blossom? She played Six LeMeure, Blossom's best friend. Well, she's not just known for her acting chops. She's also a dedicated Jehovah's Witness. She's shared her faith journey openly, even writing a book about it.

Now, let's talk about M. Night Shyamalan. Yes, the director who brought us The Sixth Sense and Split. He's a man of many talents, including being a devoted Jehovah's Witness. He's been open about how his faith influences his films, adding a unique layer to his storytelling.

Famous Faces, Familiar Beliefs

You might be thinking, "These are some big names, but what do they believe in?" Great question! Jehovah's Witnesses are known for their door-to-door preaching, their refusal to celebrate birthdays, and their belief in a future where Earth will be a paradise.

They don't celebrate birthdays? That's right! But don't worry, they still manage to have a good time. They celebrate holidays like Easter and Christmas, but they call them by different names and celebrate them in their own way. For instance, they call Christmas "The Memorial of Christ's Death" and celebrate it by having a special meeting.

Another thing they're known for is their refusal to salute national flags or sing national anthems. This is because they believe in being "no part of the world" and remaining neutral in political matters. It's all about staying true to their beliefs, even when it's not the popular choice.
