What Do Agt Winners Get

Ever wondered what's in store for the lucky winners of America's Got Talent? You know, besides the life-changing moment and the massive ego boost. Well, grab a snack, 'cause we're spilling the beans on what they really get!

First things first: The Big Bucks

Let's talk money, honey! The grand prize for AGT winners is a cool $1 million. That's right, one million smackeroos! But here's the twist: it's not just cash. It's a check for a million bucks. You know, because carrying around a big bag of cash is so last century.

Now, you might be thinking, "That's a lot of money, but what about taxes?" Well, my friend, Uncle Sam gets a piece of that pie too. The winner takes home around $600,000 after taxes. Still not chump change, right?

More Than Money: The Golden Buzzer

Now, you might be wondering, "What's this 'Golden Buzzer' I keep hearing about?" It's like the AGT equivalent of the Holy Grail. Each judge and the host get one per season to use on an act they absolutely love. It sends the act straight to the live shows, bypassing the rest of the audition process. Talk about a game-changer!

But here's where it gets interesting: the Golden Buzzer winner also gets a cash prize! It's not as much as the grand prize, but it's still a nice chunk of change – around $25,000. Not bad for a button press, huh?

Fun Fact: The First Golden Buzzer

Fun fact alert! The first-ever Golden Buzzer moment happened in season 11. It was used by judge Mel B for a group called DNA. They were a singing duo who performed a beautiful rendition of "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman. Talk about setting the bar high!

More Than Money: The Fame and Fortune

Now, let's talk about the fame factor. Winning AGT can launch you into the stratosphere of fame. You're suddenly the talk of the town, the country, the world! You'll be on every talk show, every magazine cover, and every social media platform. It's like being a real-life celebrity for a hot minute.

But with great fame comes great responsibility (and great offers). AGT winners often get record deals, TV specials, and even Las Vegas residencies. Some winners, like Grace VanderWaal and Caleb & Kelsey, have even gone on to release albums and tour the country. Talk about living your best life!
