Tv Shows With Will Packer

Hey there, TV binge-lovers! Ever found yourself scrolling through Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime, wondering, "Who's behind all these awesome shows I've been devouring?" Well, let me introduce you to a name that's been popping up on your screen more often than your mom's group chat - Will Packer.

Now, you might be thinking, "Will Packer? Isn't he that guy who produced Girls Trip and Almost Christmas?" Why, yes, yes he is! But did you know he's also been making waves in the TV world? Let's dive in, shall we?

From Big Screen to Small

So, how did our man Will make the leap from the silver screen to your living room? Well, it all started with a little show called Uncle Buck. Remember that '90s movie with John Candy? Packer took that classic comedy and turned it into a TV series in 2016. It might not have lasted long, but it was a solid first step into the small screen.

But Packer wasn't done yet. Oh no, he was just getting started. He teamed up with NBC to create People Are Talking, a sitcom that aired in 2015. Sadly, it didn't make it past the first season, but hey, you can't win 'em all, right?

Enter 'The Quad'

Now, here's where things start to get interesting. Packer decided to try his hand at drama with The Quad, a series about a fictional historically black college. It aired on BET in 2017 and was a hit with audiences. Critics, however, were a bit more mixed. But who cares what they think? We loved it!

And speaking of drama, Packer also produced Tales, a scripted anthology series that aired on BET in 2017. Each episode told a different story, and it was all tied together by a common theme - music. Pretty cool, huh?

Reality Check

But Packer isn't all about the scripted shows. Oh no, he's also dipping his toes into the reality TV pool. In 2018, he executive produced Ready to Love, a dating show that aired on OWN. It was like The Bachelor, but with a more diverse cast and a focus on finding love that lasts. Sounds like a breath of fresh air, right?

And if that wasn't enough, Packer also produced People's Choice, a reality competition series that aired on E! in 2019. It was like a bunch of celebrities competing in a series of challenges, all to win the title of "People's Choice." I mean, who wouldn't want that on their resume?

And There's More!

But wait, there's more! Packer also produced Ambitions, a drama series that aired on OWN in 2019. It was all about power, politics, and the legal world, and it was full of twists and turns that kept us on the edge of our seats.

And if that wasn't enough to keep you busy, Packer also produced Cocktails with Queens, a reality show that aired on Amazon Prime in 2020. It was a talk show hosted by four fabulous drag queens, and it was all about laughter, love, and lots of fabulous outfits. What's not to love?

So, Why Should You Care?

Well, aside from the fact that Packer is clearly a force to be reckoned with in the TV world, there's another reason you should be paying attention to his work. Diversity. Packer is all about creating content that reflects the diversity of the world we live in. His shows feature people of color, LGBTQ+ characters, and a whole range of ages and backgrounds. And that, my friends, is something worth celebrating.

So, the next time you're scrolling through your streaming service of choice, keep an eye out for shows produced by Will Packer. You never know what amazing, diverse, and downright entertaining content you might find. And who knows? You might just discover your new favorite show.

So, there you have it - a whirlwind tour of Will Packer's TV career. From sitcoms to dramas, reality shows to anthologies, Packer is clearly a man on a mission. And if his past work is any indication, we can't wait to see what he does next. Until then, happy binge-watching!
