So, there I was, stuck in traffic, tapping my fingers on the steering wheel, wishing I could just poof! away like some sort of magical genie. You know the drill, right? Now, I'm not saying I believe in magic, per se. But hey, a girl can dream, can't she? And then, as if the universe heard my silent plea, I saw it. A tiny, shimmering speck in the distance, growing larger, taking shape. A magic carpet, folks! Right there, in the middle of downtown, floating along like it was the most natural thing in the world.

I blinked. Rubbed my eyes. Looked again. Yep, still there. And get this, it was empty. No genie, no prince, no one steering the darn thing. Just a carpet, floating along, waiting for a rider. I mean, who was I to argue with fate? I rolled down my window, stuck out my hand, and whoosh! Up I went, leaving my car and the traffic jam behind.
