What's the Deal with These Shadows?

So, What We Do In The Shadows is a comedy series that follows a group of vampires, a witch, and a werewolf living together in a house in the modern world. It's like Big Bang Theory meets True Blood, with a dash of The Office thrown in for good measure. The show is a spin-off of the 2014 film of the same name, created by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi.

Now, you might be wondering, "Why are these supernatural beings living together? And why are they being followed around by a camera crew?" Well, that's where the magic of this show comes in. The series is presented in a mockumentary style, with the characters being interviewed and their daily lives being filmed. It's like a reality TV show, but with a lot more fangs and fur.

Meet the Residents of 666 Park Avenue

So, who are these supernatural beings that we're talking about? Let's meet the residents of 666 Park Avenue.

• Nandor the Relentless - A 372-year-old vampire from the Ottoman Empire, Nandor is the leader of the group. He's a bit of a traditionalist and often struggles with the modern world.
• Laszlo Cravensworth - Another vampire, Laszlo is a bit of a dandy and loves to dress up in fancy clothes. He's also a bit of a ladies' man, much to the chagrin of his energy-guzzling familiar, Guillermo.
• Colin Robinson - A vampire who feeds on energy from boredom, Colin is a bit of a killjoy. He's always trying to dampen the fun and often ends up being the voice of reason in the group.
• Natasia - A witch who's a bit of a free spirit, Natasia is the newest addition to the group. She's a bit of a wildcard and often causes chaos in the house.
• Jadwiga - A werewolf who's a bit of a loner, Jadwiga is often seen in her wolf form. She's not much of a talker, but she's always up for a good hunt.

Each of these characters brings something unique to the table, and their dynamic is what makes the show so hilarious. They're like a dysfunctional family, always bickering and getting on each other's nerves, but at the end of the day, they're there for each other.
