Manchester United Has Contacted Agent Jorge Mendes Regarding Alejandro Balde

Hey there, football fanatics! Grab a cuppa and let's spill the tea on the latest Manchester United gossip. You won't believe who they've been whispering sweet nothings to - none other than super agent Jorge Mendes!

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Not another Mendes client, please!" But hold your horses, folks. This time, it's not about another Ronaldo or a Pogba swap deal. No, no, no. This time, it's all about a fresh, young face that's been turning heads in Barcelona.

Meet Alejandro Balde, the 19-year-old left-back who's been giving Sergiño Dest a run for his money. Now, you might be wondering, "Who's this kid, and why should I care?" Well, let me tell you, this young gun has been lighting up the pitch with his pace, skill, and a certain je ne sais quoi that's got the Red Devils all hot and bothered.

So, what's the deal with Mendes?

Well, it seems our favorite wheeler-dealer has been in touch with United, and they've been having a little chat about young Balde. Now, I'm not saying Mendes is promising him to United on a silver platter, but you know how these things go. A whisper here, a hint there, and suddenly, the transfer rumour mill is grinding away like a well-oiled machine.

Man Utd 'appreciate' Jorge Mendes clients amid summer transfer plans

Now, I'm not one to speculate, but could you imagine Balde lining up alongside Luke Shaw or even replacing him? The thought alone is enough to make any United fan do a little jig. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We all know how these things can fizzle out quicker than a damp firework.

But why Balde, you ask?

Well, apart from the obvious (he's young, talented, and has a bright future ahead of him), United could be looking to bolster their left-back position. Shaw's been injury-prone, and while Telles has potential, he's not exactly setting the world on fire. Plus, let's not forget United's penchant for signing young, promising players. It's like their version of a comfort food - you know, the kind that makes your heart happy and your tummy full.

So, what do you think, dear reader? Should United go all in for Balde? Or is this just another Mendes masterclass in keeping us all on the edge of our seats? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time, this is your friendly neighbourhood football gossipmonger, signing off. Cheerio!
