Legend Of The Fox In Liaozhai Eng Sub

Hey there, curious mind! Ever heard of the Legend of the Fox from Liaozhai? No? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into a tale that's as wacky as it is wonderful. Grab your snacks, get comfy, and let's roll!

Meet Mr. Xu, Our Unlikely Hero

So, picture this: 17th-century China, a guy named Xu Xian is chillin', minding his own business, when suddenly, a fox spirit named Hu Gu Po waltzes into his life. Now, Hu Gu Po isn't your average fox. She's a nüwa, a fox with nine tails, which makes her super powerful and, well, a bit of a diva.

Xu Xian, being a humble scholar, is like, "Whoa, fox lady, what's up?" And Hu Gu Po's all, "I'm here to learn about human stuff, 'kay?" And so, their weird little friendship begins.

Fox School: The Strangest Class Ever

Hu Gu Po's like a kid on her first day of school, all eager and stuff. She's got her notepad ready, and Xu Xian's the poor teacher who's gotta explain human stuff to a fox spirit. They're talking about poetry, calligraphy, you name it. But here's where it gets funny:

Hu Gu Po's so into learning that she starts eating books! I mean, who does that? She's like a little fox bookworm, gobbling up knowledge. Xu Xian's like, "Uh, maybe don't eat the books, Hu Gu Po. They're kinda expensive."

Love Blooms... Sorta

So, they're hanging out, learning stuff, and then, plot twist! Xu Xian starts falling for Hu Gu Po. I know, right? Dude's got a thing for a fox spirit. But hey, love's weird, folks. And get this, Hu Gu Po starts falling for him too! They're like, the most unlikely couple ever.

But here's the kicker: Hu Gu Po's a fox spirit, remember? She's gotta keep her true form a secret. So, they're sneaking around, having these super romantic, super secret dates. It's like a period drama version of 'The Notebook', but with a fox.

Foxed by Fate

Now, you'd think their love story would have a happy ending, right? Wrong! Xu Xian's mom starts getting suspicious. She's like, "Who's this mysterious woman my son's always sneaking out to see?" And Xu Xian's all, "Uh, just a friend, Mom. Totally not a fox spirit."

But Mom's not buying it. She starts investigating, and guess who she finds? Yep, Hu Gu Po, in all her nine-tailed glory. Mom flips out, and Hu Gu Po's all, "Busted!" She runs off, heartbroken, and Xu Xian's left pining for his fox lady.

Epilogue: The Fox's Revenge

Years pass, and Xu Xian's still moping. Then one day, he sees a beautiful woman at a temple. It's Hu Gu Po, all grown up and human-looking! They reunite, and it's all tears and joy. But here's where it gets dark: Hu Gu Po's like, "Hey, remember how your mom ruined our love? Well, now I'm gonna turn her into a pig!"

And she does. I mean, ouch, right? Talk about a fox's revenge. But hey, that's the Legend of the Fox for you. It's a wild ride, full of love, laughter, and a whole lot of fox spirit drama.
