Law & Order Original Cast

So, you know how we're all just casually binge-watching "Law & Order" like it's our job? Yeah, me too. Let's take a little coffee break and chat about the original cast, shall we?

Jack McCoy & Co.

Alright, let's start with the big guy himself, Sam Waterston. You know, Jack McCoy. The guy who's been prosecuting criminals since before you and I were even a thought. I mean, how many times have we seen him in that courtroom, giving those closing arguments that make us want to stand up and cheer?

Now, let's not forget his trusty sidekick, Lennie Briscoe. Yes, that's right, Jerry Orbach. The man who could make a wisecrack out of anything. I mean, who else could make us laugh and cringe in the same scene? R.I.P., Lennie. You were one of a kind.

Before the Dream Team

But before McCoy and Briscoe, there was the original dream team. Ben Stone and Mike Logan. Paul Sorvino and Chris Noth, respectively. I know, I know, you're thinking, "How could there be 'Law & Order' without McCoy and Briscoe?" Well, my friend, let me tell you, it was a different world.

Stone was the by-the-book guy, always playing it safe. And Logan? Well, he was the loose cannon, always ready to bend the rules. Together, they made one heck of a team. And let's not forget their trusty ADA, Claire Kincaid. Jill Hennessy, playing the role of the smart, tough, and sometimes vulnerable prosecutor. She was the perfect balance to Stone and Logan's dynamic.
