John Elway Owner Of Broncos

So, you're sipping your coffee, and I'm here, chattering away about John Elway, the man, the myth, the Broncos legend. You know, the guy who's now calling the shots as the team's owner. Let's dive in, shall we?

From the Field to the Front Office

Remember when Elway was tearing up the field, throwing those iconic spirals, and winning Super Bowls? Yeah, those were the days. But then, in 2011, the Broncos decided to give him a shot at the big leagues, not as a player, but as the Executive Vice President of Football Operations. I mean, who better to run the show than the guy who's been there, done that, right?

Now, fast forward to 2014, and Elway's added another title to his resume: Owner. The Broncos' majority owner, Pat Bowlen, had made Elway a minority owner back in 2012, and when Bowlen passed away in 2019, Elway took over as CEO and President. Talk about a power move!

Elway's Midas Touch

You might be wondering, has Elway's ownership been as legendary as his playing days? Well, let's just say he's got a bit of a Midas touch. Since taking over, the Broncos have made it to the playoffs a couple of times, and they've even snagged a few division titles. Not too shabby, huh?

But it hasn't all been smooth sailing. There's been some ups and downs, a few coaching changes, and a couple of seasons that, well, let's just say they weren't exactly Super Bowl material. But hey, nobody said running a team was easy, right?

Elway's Legacy Lives On

Despite the bumps in the road, one thing's for sure: Elway's legacy as a Bronco is stronger than ever. Fans still chant his name at games, and his number 7 jersey is still a staple in the stands. It's like he's this larger-than-life figure, looming over the team, inspiring them to greatness.

And you know what? I think that's exactly what Elway wants. He's not just building a team; he's building a legacy. A legacy that says, "I was here, I played, I won, and now, I'm making sure the Broncos keep winning, long after I'm gone."

So, there you have it. John Elway, the Bronco legend, the team owner, the man with a plan. Whether he's on the field or in the front office, one thing's for sure: Elway's always going to be a Bronco at heart. And isn't that what it's all about?
