How Old Is Rex Smith

So, you're wondering, "How old is Rex Smith?" Well, buckle up, because we're about to embark on a wild ride through time, filled with laughter, surprises, and a dash of trivia that'll make you the life of the party at your next coffee break.

Let's Start at the Beginning

Rex Smith, you ask? The Rex Smith? The one who's been around since the dinosaurs roamed the Earth? Well, not quite. But he's been around the block a few times, that's for sure.

Born on August 11, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, Rex has been gracing our screens and stages for what feels like an eternity. But don't let that fool you. He's like a fine wine, just getting better with age.

From Soap Operas to Broadway

You might remember Rex from his stint on the soap opera "As the World Turns" back in the '80s. He played the dashing Dr. Scott Henderson, making hearts flutter and swoon. But did you know he was actually the youngest actor to ever play the role? Talk about starting at the top!

But Rex didn't stop at soap operas. Oh no, he had Broadway in his sights. He starred in the musical "The Pirates of Penzance" in the '80s, too. And get this - he replaced Kevin Kline in the role! Now that's what you call a big pair of shoes to fill. But fill them he did, with style and panache.

Movies, Music, and More

Rex isn't just a pretty face (though he is very pretty). He's also a talented musician. He's released several albums over the years, proving that he's not just a triple threat (actor, singer, dancer), but a quadruple threat (actor, singer, dancer, heartthrob).

And the movies? Oh, where do we start? From "The Love Boat" to "Smallville," Rex has left his mark on the silver screen. He even played a vampire in "Dark Shadows"! Now that's a resume builder.

So, How Old Is He?

Alright, alright, you've been patient. It's time to reveal the big secret. Rex Smith is... drumroll... 66 years young! Yes, you read that right. Sixty-six. And he's still going strong, proving that age is just a number, and Rex is a number-crunching machine.

So, the next time you're wondering, "How old is Rex Smith?" just remember: he's old enough to have seen it all, done it all, and still be here, looking fabulous and making us laugh. Here's to you, Rex. May your days be filled with music, laughter, and maybe a few more soap opera cameos.
