How Old Is John Mcenroe Now

So, there I was, the other day, watching some old tennis matches on YouTube. You know, just for fun, to see how the game's evolved. And who do I see, serving like a boss, with that signature grunt? None other than John McEnroe. I mean, the guy's a legend, right? But it got me thinking, how old is John McEnroe now?

Let's rewind a bit

For those who've been living under a rock (no judgment, we've all been there), John McEnroe is a former American tennis player. He was born on February 16, 1959, in Wiesbaden, Germany. Yes, you heard it right. He's a bit of a globetrotter, even before he started playing tennis.

Now, you might be wondering, why am I telling you this? Well, if we want to figure out how old John McEnroe is now, we need to do a bit of math. Stick with me, I promise it's not as painful as it sounds.

Doing the math

Alright, so McEnroe was born in 1959. That makes him 63 years old as of 2022. Yes, you read that right. The guy who's been giving us serious fitness goals on the court is in his sixties!

But here's the thing, he doesn't look a day over 40. I mean, have you seen his Instagram? The guy's still got the same energy, the same passion for the game. It's like he's found the fountain of youth on the tennis court.

Still got the fire

You might think that after retiring from professional tennis in 1994, McEnroe would've hung up his racket and called it a day. But no, this guy's still got the fire. He's been playing in senior tours and exhibitions, showing the youngsters how it's done.

And it's not just about the game. McEnroe's also been active in commentary, sharing his insights and expertise with the world. He's been a commentator for various networks, including the BBC and ESPN. So, he's not just living in the past, he's very much a part of the present tennis scene.

More than just a player

But McEnroe's not just about tennis. He's also an author, a musician, and even an actor. Yes, you heard that right. He's been in a few movies and TV shows. You might've seen him in "The Next Karate Kid" or "The Women". He's also got a couple of books under his belt, including his autobiography "You Cannot Be Serious!"

So, you see, John McEnroe is not just a tennis player. He's a man of many talents, and he's still going strong. And that, my friends, is why he's not just a legend, he's a living legend.

And there you have it. John McEnroe is 63 years old, and he's still got more energy and passion than most of us combined. So, the next time you're feeling a bit tired or unmotivated, just remember John McEnroe. He's 63, and he's still out there, giving it his all.
