How Old Are Rush Band Members

Ever wondered what's the secret to rocking out like it's still the '70s? Well, folks, let me spill the beans on the ages of the legendary Rush band members. You might want to sit down for this one, 'cause these guys have been around the block a few times!

Geddy Lee: The Silver Fox

First up, we've got our lead vocalist and bassist, Geddy Lee. Born on July 29, 1953, in Toronto, Canada, Geddy is the oldest of the bunch. That's right, he's been belting out those high notes and making us all feel like we're part of a cosmic journey since before some of you were even born!

Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, Geddy's been at it for a while!" And you'd be right. But here's the kicker: he's still going strong, and he doesn't look a day over 40. I mean, have you seen his hair? That mane is a timeless masterpiece!

Alex Lifeson: The Guitar Guru

Next up, we've got our guitar god, Alex Lifeson. Born on August 27, 1953, Alex is just a couple of months younger than Geddy. Together, they've been shredding guitars and making us all feel the rhythm since they were just kids!

Now, Alex might be a rockstar, but he's also a family man. He's been married to his wife, Charlene, since 1973. That's right, folks, they've been rockin' together for almost five decades! Talk about a power couple!

Neil Peart: The Drumming Dynamo

Last but certainly not least, we've got our drumming powerhouse, Neil Peart. Born on September 12, 1952, Neil is the youngest of the trio. But don't let that fool you – he's been pounding those drums with the same intensity since he was just a teenager!

Rush's surviving members say the band is over after Neil Peart's death

Now, Neil might be the youngest, but he's also the most private. He's known for keeping his personal life under wraps, but we do know that he's a bit of a bookworm. He's written several books, including a travelogue and a collection of poetry. Who would've thought that our favorite drummer was also a wordsmith?

The Not-So-Secret to Their Success

So, there you have it, folks. The ages of the legendary Rush band members. But here's the thing: it's not just about their age – it's about their passion, their dedication, and their unwavering love for music. They've been doing this for decades, and they're still going strong. That's something to truly admire!

And who knows? Maybe one day, we'll all be rocking out like it's still the '70s, thanks to these timeless musicians. Until then, let's keep the music alive and enjoy the ride!
