From Ryu to M. Bison: The New Street Fighter Movie Cast in Pictures

Alright, folks! Grab your hadoukens and get ready for a blast from the past. You remember Street Fighter, right? Those epic battles, the iconic characters, and that unforgettable theme music. Well, guess who's making a comeback? That's right, the Street Fighter movie is getting a reboot, and this time, it's looking lit!

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But I've seen Street Fighter movies before. What makes this one different?" Well, let me tell you, this cast is on fire. They've taken the classic characters we know and love and given them a fresh, modern twist. It's like when you order your usual coffee, but today, the barista decided to throw in a shot of espresso. You know what you're getting, but it's got that extra kick that makes your day.

Ryu: The White-Haired Warrior

Let's start with the man himself, Ryu. You know Ryu, right? The white-haired, red headband-wearing martial artist who's always ready to throw down. In the new movie, he's being played by Don Lee. Now, if you're a fan of action movies, you might recognize Don from his roles in movies like "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and "The Raid: Redemption". He's got the moves, the look, and the intensity to bring Ryu to life.

Imagine Ryu as that one friend who's always up for a game of one-on-one. You know, the one who takes the game seriously but never forgets to have fun. That's Don Lee's Ryu for you. He's got the skills to back up that iconic "Hadoken!" shout, but he's also got the charisma to make you root for him.

Chun-Li: The Strongest Woman in the World

Next up, we have Chun-Li, the "Strongest Woman in the World". In the new movie, she's being played by Jessica McNamee. Now, Jessica might not look like your typical action hero, but trust me, she's got the chops. She's played roles in movies like "The Meg" and "Mortal Kombat", so she knows her way around a fight scene.

Think of Chun-Li as that one girl in your gym class who always picked the heaviest weights. She's strong, she's fierce, and she's not afraid to show it. Jessica brings that same energy to the role, making Chun-Li a force to be reckoned with. She's not just a fighter; she's a symbol of strength and resilience.

Guile: The Air Force Lieutenant

Now, let's talk about Guile. The man with the big hair, the big guns, and the even bigger heart. In the new movie, he's being played by Joe Taslim. You might recognize Joe from his roles in movies like "The Raid: Redemption" and "Fast & Furious 6". He's got the look, he's got the moves, and he's got the attitude to make Guile come to life.

Guile is like that one friend who's always got your back. He's the one who'll drive you to the airport at 4 AM, help you move on a moment's notice, and always, always, has your back in a fight. Joe brings that same sense of loyalty and camaraderie to the role, making Guile a character you can't help but love.

M. Bison: The Villain We Love to Hate

And finally, we have the big boss himself, M. Bison. The man with the scar, the cigar, and the evil laugh. In the new movie, he's being played by Ed Boon. Now, if you're a fan of fighting games, you might recognize Ed as one of the co-creators of the Mortal Kombat series. He's got a history with these kinds of characters, and it shows.

M. Bison is like that one bully from your childhood who always picked on you. You hated him, but you couldn't look away. Ed brings that same sense of menace and charisma to the role, making M. Bison a villain you love to hate. He's the bad guy you can't help but cheer for, just a little bit.

So there you have it, folks! The new Street Fighter movie cast is looking amazing, and I, for one, can't wait to see these characters in action. It's like when your favorite band announces a new tour. You know they're going to play all your favorite songs, but you're still excited to see what new twists they've got in store.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "This all sounds great, but why should I care?" Well, let me tell you, this movie is more than just a reboot. It's a love letter to the fans, a celebration of the games that brought us together, and a chance to see our favorite characters in a whole new light. It's like when you rediscover an old song you used to love. It brings back memories, it makes you smile, and it reminds you of why you fell in love with it in the first place.

So, mark your calendars, folks. The Street Fighter movie is coming, and it's bringing a whole new world of hadoukens, shoryukens, and sonic booms with it. It's going to be epic, it's going to be action-packed, and it's going to be a whole lot of fun. So, who's ready to throw down?
