And It Went Like This Say Ooh La La

So, You're Telling Me, It Just Went... Like This? Say Ooh La La?

Alright, gather 'round, folks. I've got a tale to tell you about a phrase that's been making the rounds, and it's not your average "howdy" or "hello". It's a bit more... flamboyant, shall we say?

I'm talking about "And it went like this, say ooh la la". Now, before you start picturing a bunch of French chefs dancing the can-can, let's rewind a bit.

Where Did This Ooh-La-La Business Come From?

Well, buckle up, because it's quite the journey. You see, this phrase isn't just a random string of words that fell out of a dictionary and onto the internet. No, no, no. It's got a story, and it all started with a little song called "Ooh La La" by a band called Faces.

Now, Faces, they were a British rock band, and "Ooh La La" was their swansong, their final hurrah, their last album before they split. And what an album it was! It was like their musical love letter to the '60s, filled with all sorts of groovy tunes.

But among all those groovy tunes, there was one that stood out. A song that, even though it was never released as a single, became a fan favorite. A song that, decades later, would inspire a whole new generation to say "ooh la la". That song was "Ooh La La".

From Rock 'n' Roll to... TikTok?

Now, you might be wondering, how did we go from a '70s rock song to a phrase that's all over TikTok? Well, folks, that's the magic of the internet. You see, a few years back, someone, somewhere, decided to make a video set to "Ooh La La". And it wasn't just any video, no, it was a dance video.

And wouldn't you know it, that dance video caught on. People started copying the dance, adding their own flair, their own moves. And before you knew it, "And it went like this, say ooh la la" was trending all over the place.
